INFLUENCE OF TEMPERATURE ON THE INTERACTION KINETICS BETWEEN MOLTEN ALUMINIUM ALLOY AL99.7 AND TOOL STEEL H11

Hot-work tool steels are used in casting and hot-forming processes subjected to thermal, mechanical chemical stresses that can cause damage various parts of the tool. Therefore, knowledge interaction between steel molten aluminium alloy is necessary extend life The present work was carried out predict influence temperature on kinetics aluminium. To investigate effect dissolution rate formation layers, DSC analysis performed at two different temperatures, 670 °C 700 °C, for 12 h. results were corroborated supported by a detailed microstructure analysis.
 It found very small changes, this case 30 significantly affect layer’s H11 Al99.7. All test methods show pronounced temperature. A faster observed curve, with slope curve being larger specimen tested which also confirmed measurements thicknesses layers. thickness composite layer almost same both cases, has no layer. types layers do not differ from each other.
